Good find, David. Yes, the Hertz clock could have been off. That leaves me
still curious about the Bowles claim in the OP. How did he establish the
precise seconds of the shooting. It also invalidates the statement by
Tague that the Hertz clock showed 12:31 at the time of the shooting. It
also illustrates how witnesses can and do jumble up the sequence of events
in their memory banks. That shows we can't put much stock in when Tague
remembered being struck on the cheek.
