Theatrix: Ironwood

Gritty, Honest, and Unpretentious

Ironwood is an action packed, pulp fantasy setting based on Bill
Willingham's underground comic of the same name. This Theatrix supplement
is set on the mystic and enchanted world of legend known as Avalon.
Avalon is one of the Six Known Worlds accessible via the magical Ghost
Doors. It is a world where magic permeates everything and all manner of
creatures, magical and mundane, sentient and non-sentient, co-exist and
interbreed. Ironwood is a gritty, honest, and unpretentious setting.
Politics and social situations are realistic, and often darkly humorous
too, with a mature theme.

The Ironwood setting book contains a fully realized world, ready for your
exploration. It has 288 pages of information on races, politics, magic,
creatures, and more - all from the notes of, and approved by Willingham.
The book is fully illustrated by Bill Willingham, including numerous pieces
of never before published art.

In Ironwood, you can play and endless variety of characters. For example,
you could play a Weremuskrat, Elven warrior looking for the Lost Tribe, a
Vampire assassin-for-hire building up enough capital and power to start
his own Vampire settlement, The half-breed offspring of a Centaur and a
Hill Troll bent on discovering the lost Dwarven Crafthold of Dwarken or,
perhaps a High Mage to the Caliph of Madragore carefully manipulating
power to her own benefit.

Theatrix: Ironwood overflows with limitless possibilities. A complete
fantasy setting, Ironwood can sustain all manner of role-playing
interests from dungeon crawls to mysteries to political intrigue and
combinations there-of. Pick up and enjoy this unique
pulp-fantasy-for-adults world from the mind of Bill Willingham.
