Building a More Resilient Housing System
Please join Houston LISC and the Kinder Institute for Urban Research for a discussion with local and national experts about the ways that affordable housing and resilience are interwoven and how stronger systems could be built in both arenas. The discussion will explore how other cities and regions have responded to acute disasters such as Hurricane Harvey and what strategies they've pursued around long-term resilience planning. We will also hear from local experts about what steps are being taken in Houston.
