This video makes me want to time races for a living, but I don't think I could give up my coaching.  Any chance someone could post a video example of the Run Sign Up and uploaded video showing individuals their place in the video.  Trying to use this as an example to get more budget to improve our school timing system.  Thanks!

Here is my test of the sync between RSU and a video.   Click the "video" link beneath any finisher's time in the results and it should take you to the YouTube video cued up in the proper spot.

That is awesome!  Was it hard to set up in RSU?

It was a learning curve.  But not that bad.  Here is their instruction video.  Enjoy.  I'm headed to bed.  Trail running in the deep snow tomorrow!

So is the TR265 currently compatible with the system?  Might be a silly question but I didn't know if the software recognized the reader or if you were going to need to develop the software in order to accomplish this.

Thanks for the video.

Yes sir, and unlike the TR200 the TR265 will install it's own drivers (so it's now plug and play). I did not have to make any changes in the code to get it to work.

One time when I plugged the TR265 into a new computer it installed the drivers automatically, but the software wouldn't connect to the reader until I had restarted the computer. This has only happened once with about 10 computers I've used it on. So if anyone ever has problems using it when they first plug it in, try restarting your computer.

Here is a review I posted about the TR265 in another thread: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/agee-race-timing/ZuJL9g-L_2w/l39SlJ2RWBsJ

In my daily battle to stay on top of emails I got to discussing something that I thought I would share with the group. The guy was asking me if the laminated tags can be placed in some kind of Velcro sleeve that can be worn on the ankle. This would be a much cheaper alternative than other ankle tags on the market, especially since you would use tags that you already use for regular running events. I informed him that I spent quiet a bit of time working with any company I could find to make this exact same product and I found some old photos and videos that I thought y'all might find interesting. This video is also a good example how much a thin layer of water between the tag and the antenna can hurt read rates. Enjoy!
