MutateJobService for Shopping campaigns?

Is it possible to use the MutateJobService for Shopping campaigns? I tried to change a MaxCPC bid for a criterion in a shopping campaign and got CAMPAIGN_TYPE_NOT_COMPATIBLE_WITH_PARTIAL_FAILURE. The change had no effect.

At this time you cannot use AdGroupCriterionOperations for ad groups of shopping campaigns in a MutateJobService call. We're aware of this issue and are working on it. I'll post here when I have an update.

Can I confirm if this error is still at large?
I encountered the same error today while using the MutateJobService to add product partitions to an ad group in a shopping campaign.
Don't want to assume it is the same error, but sounds like it.

Your assumption is correct - we still do not support MutateJobService calls for shopping campaigns.

No, we don't have any updates at the moment. Such a change has to happen in a new version of AdWords API, so I suggest watching this forum or our blog for announcements.

Hello!

Is there an update on this? We need to create large adgroups (with more than 5000 product groups) and it is very difficult to do it properly (breaking it into sub trees is not trivial). I don't see any update in the v201506 too.

If there is a workaround to create more than 5000 product groups in one shot, please let me know :-)
