In Volkers 3.0 branch the query date picker worked out of the box. In the main 3.1 branch this seems not to be the case...or is it me being thick again?

Michael

Thats "jquery" of course, not "query"

Gem version? or gem from git? Also, post your javascript manifest
It's working here.

Its "The Gem from the Git" (hey, wouldn't that be a cool movie title?), the manifest is:

// This is a manifest file that'll be compiled into including all the files listed below.
// Add new JavaScript/Coffee code in separate files in this directory and they'll automatically
// be included in the compiled file accessible from http://example.com/assets/application.js
// It's not advisable to add code directly here, but if you do, it'll appear at the bottom of the
// the compiled file.
//
//= require jquery
//= require jquery_ujs
//= require active_scaffold
//= require_tree .

Thanks
Michael

Its more of a "datepicking means picking a date and not a datetime" kind of problem...

And yepp, I know of Volkers article about adding time picking to the date picker, I even used it in 3.0 projects, but I now can't figure out, how to use it in 3.1's asset surrounding.

Any hints?

Regards
Michael

Ok, this might be an issue between current versions of jquery, jquery-ui and the datetime-picker-addon.

There was a javascript in rails 3.0, jquery-ui-timepicker-addon.js, which is
missing in rails 3.1. I haven't tried it yet, and I don't know if it's working
with rails 3.1 or it needs some updates.
