Dear Dharma Friends, In view of the prolonged flood situation in Thailand, the Vajrayana Buddhist Council of Malaysia (VBCM) has launched a "Flood Relief Fund-Raising for Thailand 2011". VBCM shall cooperate with Yayasan Nanyang Press to collect funds and to channel aids directly to the flood victims. With a team of 40 volunteers, Yayasan Nanyang Press is currently co-distributing supplies and resources with a few temples in Thailand, such as Wat Duang Kae (Bangkok), Wat Tammapayaram (Nakhon Pathom), Wat Pai Thong (Bangpama, Suphanburi), and Suwanarum Wittiyakhom School (Bangkok). We encourage our member organisations and the public to contribute generously to help alleviate the sufferings of the victims in Thailand.
