Elmquist, Bruce Ernest 67, of Sanger and a retired pilot for Delta
Airlines, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1943 in Elwood City, Pennsylvania to Ernest
John Berger and Alice Martha (Davis) Elmquist. He married the love of
his life, Carol Jolene Fisher on May 14, 1966 in Park City, Kansas.
Visitation: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Wed., Feb. 16, 2011, Coker Funeral
Home, 403 Pecan Street, Sanger, Texas. Funeral services: 6:00 pm,
Thurs., Feb. 17, 2011, Denton Bible Church Chapel, 2300 E. University
Dr., Denton, Texas. Survivors include his daughter and her husband,
Valerie Renee and David Clackler of Golden, CO and son, Michael Philip
Elmquist of Houston; sister, Linda Alice Roth of Darlington, PA;
brother, Lance Roy Elmquist of Cottage Grove, MN; two grandchildren,
Samuel Mason Clackler and Lauren Grace Clacker of Golden, CO. He was
preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Carol Jolene who passed
away in 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that
memorials be made to the Denton Bible Church Building Fund, 2300

Bruce Ernest Elmquist, 67, of Sanger, passed away on Sunday, February
13, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1943 in Elwood City, Pennsylvania to Ernest
John Berger and Alice Martha (Davis) Elmquist.He married the love of
his life, Carol Jolene Fisher on May 14, 1966 in Park City, Kansas. He
was a member of Denton Bible Church where he and his wife, Carol
worked as volunteers.He was a master mason with the Stanfield Lodge
#217 in Denton, TX. He was a pilot for Delta Airlines prior to his
retirement in 1999.
A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February
16, 2011 at Coker Funeral Home, 403 Pecan Street, Sanger, TX. Funeral
services will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the
Denton Bible Church Chapel, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton, TX.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband,Valerie Renee and David
Clackler of Golden, CO and son, Michael Philip Elmquist of Houston;

Elmquist, Carol Jolene "Jo" Age 65, of Sanger, passed away Thursday,
December 4, 2008 in Denton. Mrs. Elmquist was born on October 10, 1943
in Wichita, Kansas to the late Joseph Fischer & Clarice (Bailey)
Fischer. She married Bruce Elmquist on May 14, 1966 in Park City,
Kansas. Jo volunteered her time and love to many organizations in and
around Denton. She served in many capacities at Denton Bible Church
and Denton Pregnancy Crisis Center. She enjoyed her fellowship, with
her sisters in Christ at B.S.F., but most of all Jo loved being a
wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include; husband, Bruce
Elmquist of Sanger; daughter & son-in-law Renee & David Clackler of
Houston; son, Michael Elmquist of Houston; sister, Mary MacGuire of
Pillager, Minnesota; brothers, Steven Fischer & Terry Fischer of Park
City, Kansas & Sammy Fischer of Las Vegas and two grandchildren Mason
& Lauren Clackler. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Monday,
December 8 at Coker Funeral Home 403 Pecan, Sanger. Life Celebration
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the
Denton Bible Church Chapel with Tommy Nelson officiating. In lieu of
flowers the family has asked donation be made to: Denton Bible Church
Missions or Denton Bible Church Building Fund; 2300 E. University Dr.;
