On Monday, October 12, 2009, at 6:55pm, the victim, W/F, was walking
in the 800 block of Toulouse when she was approached by an unknown
black male. The suspect took the victim’s purse and fled on Bourbon
toward St Ann. A witness gave chase and flagged down an officer on
patrol.
Responding Officers were able to apprehend the suspect, Michael
Baptiste, B/M, 5-6-86. Additional information on this arrest and/or
