胖海綿 - Yes, as it is stated in the "About This Group" section, "Most of
our members are from VA/MD/DC area". We have very short snow
season ... not as lucky as you who can ski 6 months a year in Canada.

north east canada has 4-month season at most, and that has to be a really good year. if you are talking about the nicely packed surface it would be about a month, before that it is ice, after that is slash

I was just that I will miss out on a sale, but I don't think I would spend any money on gears this year, just for the fun of looking ;)

It's still much better than our local area! Our snow season has only
3 months, and icy or slushy conditions are normal here.
