Here is the guide to everybody who wants to participate, and also the list of possible project ideas (new ideas are also welcome):

In order to participate in GSoC 2020, you must submit proposal through summerofcode.withgoogle.com between 16th and 31th of March.

In the proposal, besides the project-related content, provide your brief resume, links to your source code, and, if possible, contacts of mentors from the previous GSoC if you participated there.

For the mentors convenience, please, also fill the pre-application form (the name may be misleading, you can fill it at any convenient moment during the application period): https://forms.gle/qogMCfbLue6MnpdWA

The link to your resume is needed there, just attach your application document, as long as it contains some information about your background (which it should). On the question "Explain why you are interesting in this project" - one short phrase is enough, e.g. "like it the most", "more experienced in it", "consider it the easiest to implement" etc. So, this pre-application form will take just 5 minutes of your time.

While we cannot write proposals for you, we can do general evaluation of your draft proposals before you actually submit them. For that, please, provide links to the documents.
