Ganga Is Drying

Ganga has a prominent role in the history, culture, civilisation and economy of India. Ganga is the best of the Devis, of the Mothers, and the holiest of the rivers in the country. Culturally, most of the Indian customs, traditions, even the folklore and the arts hover around the strong belief that Ganga is pure and she purifies.

 

Unfortunately both Flow and Purity of Ganga are badly threatened by many factors. Who is responsible for this? Our prime objective of creating this group is to discuss on this issues.
