We had over 35 people came to the Fair Oaks Community Center to attend this event. Thank you District 4 residents! This shows your commitment to supporting the community and the new Supervisor. (Especially since this was on the same night as the Presidential Debate, Game 7 of the NLCS - SF Giants vs SL Cardinals (Go Giants!) and Monday Night Football.)

San Mateo County Supervisor District 4 Debate - Shelly Masur and Warren Slocum, October 22, 2012

Good evening District 4 residents. Welcome to the Fair Oaks Community Center. 
I'm David Bui, a resident and neighbor living in North Fair Oaks. 

We are pleased to host the San Mateo County Supervisor District 4 Candidate Debate between Shelly Masur and Warren Slocum. 

Shelly Masur -a Redwood City resident, is a trustee on the Redwood City School District board and the immediate past president of the San Mateo County School Boards Association, among other positions.

Warren Slocum -- a Redwood City resident, is a retired San Mateo County Clerk and the former Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder for San Mateo County.

In between opening and closing statements, there will be a series of questions. The candidates will have 2 minutes for opening and closing statements. Each candidate will have 90 seconds to answer each question, and 30 seconds after each answer to respond. Manuel Ramirez, our time keeper, will assist the candidates in adhering to those time limits.
