The Dartmouth Project

I've been independently researching artificial intelligence for the past four years. As I delved into the subject, I was surprised by the lack of a strong, active online community on artificial intelligence. I was further surprised that such an interesting and crucial field did not have a plethora of up-to-date resources and research participants. 

The Dartmouth Project is an international, transparent, crowd-funded (if necessary), intellectual quest for artificial intelligence. Yes, I know. That's a lot of adjectives. But those were the words that came to my head when I dreamed up this project. This forum will involve discussion of ideas and theories, organization of what the final project will look like, and the actual program for the AGI (eventually).
