Coder Dojo Long Island is a free open non-profit movement to teach youth ages 7-17 to code. We are the verified Long Island NY branch of the larger CoderDojo global collaboration whose focus is on open learning, with an emphasis on computer programming. Our chapter was founded to bring this movement to Long Island and to inspire other chapters in order to introduce kids to coding. Our sessions are geared towards any student from absolute beginners to experienced young programmers.
