Thank you for joining the Cloudify User Group!

Cloudify is an open source framework for deploying, managing and scaling complex multi-tier applications on private and public clouds.

We are excited to see how much the user group has grown, and would like to note that forum questions are answered on a best effort basis, and can take 24-72 hours to respond, especially with particularly complex issues.  Your patience is appreciated.

Use this list if you have questions about how to use, configure and run Cloudify, as well as any troubleshooting you encounter while using Cloudify.

In order for us to be able to assist you as best and as quickly as possible, we'd like to ask that you follow a few guidelines before posting:
  1. Search before posting.  Please make an effort to use the search function before posting or creating a new thread, as well as leverage the resources below (docs, knowledge base, JIRA), before opening a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's possible that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.
  2. Post using a clear and descriptive subject and message in ENGLISH ONLY. You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question, if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail, what your problem is and what you've done to try solving it, as well as:
    • The version of Cloudify CLI and/or manager that you are using.
    • The entire log.
      • You can get this by running `cfy events list -l -e [execution-id]`.
    • Attach a copy of your blueprint and inputs.
  3. Keep posts on-topic. Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is that your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.
  4. Multiple Posting. You are requested to post once in a single group.  Posts related to Cloudify development and contribution to the code base are relevant for the Cloudify developers group, all other posts are related to the Cloudify users group.

Please take care to remove any sensitive information such as usernames and passwords and IaaS credentials.
