Welcome, and thank you for joining the Chesapeake Foodshed Network (CFN) Food & Resource Recovery Work Group (FRRWG) Google Group! It’s great to connect.
(Please note this Work Group changed its name from Food Waste & Recovery in early 2018)

The Chesapeake Foodshed Network is founded on the principles of "collective impact" that working together develops a stronger force within our community to co-create a more resilient, more equitable, and more sustainable future food system in the Chesapeake Bay watershed region.

The purpose of this Google Group is to raise awareness and facilitate information sharing on solutions and challenges for food and resource recovery across the Chesapeake Bay region. The FRRWG comprises stakeholders who work toward reduction of wasted food, food recovery, resource recovery, food repurposing, food conservation, and related fields across the region. The Work Group facilitates resource sharing & regional campaigns, hosts a series of free educational webinars, & meets quarterly by videoconference, open to all.
