Dear Kobuki Team.

Good morning.

I got a e-mail about TurtleBot’s problem.

Please check the below text and tell me how to reply to customer.

Have a nice day.

Best regards.

Min-su.

Hello Yujijin Robot,

My name is Mark Onaga, assistant director of operations with Innovation Matrix, Inc., and we recently bought a Kobuki Turtlebot a few weeks ago, and last week, when moving the robot with:

roslaunch turtlebot_teleop keyboard_teleop.launch

One of the wheels became stuck (locked) and couldn’t move.  The other wheel moves just fine.  It happened after increasing the speed with keyboard teleoperation, and had a collision with a chair.

We have not opened up the robot to look inside, yet.  How would you advise?

Regards,

If they don't want the hassle of sending it back and forth they could 1) take some pictures, 2) try to fix it themselves, 3) if it fails, send it back for repairs. Hard to give any more detailed advice without knowing any details ;)
