LET’S IGNITE THE AIRWAVES: VHF ACTIVITY DAY ON JUNE 15

 

Join us and celebrate the 75^th anniversary of the Ontario VHF Association, by making lots of contacts on 50 mHz and up.

 

Amateurs across Ontario and adjacent US states will be activating non-repeater FM frequencies en masse, on Sunday, June 15th.  Plan now to join in the fun.  Start making plans now and help us spread the word! Whether you activate a park or summit for POTA or SOTA, participate in the ARRL June VHF Contest, or make contacts from your HT at home, the goal is to make short and sweet contacts with lots of people. You can even make contact with the same station on as many bands and modes as possible. 

 

What you can do now:

 

1. Mark Sunday June 15 on your calendar,
2. Program the common VHF and UHF FM simplex frequencies into your radios.
3. Spread the word.
