Pass the word to other regional clubs!
The Rochester VHF Group is sponsoring a 1-hour long VHF Sprint TODAY (Saturday, January 2nd) starting at 11:00 AM.
Even if you're not "into contests", this is a GREAT opportunity to
polish your ability to pass simple traffic quickly on several bands
while having fun.
"Contemplate, and Activate" for this ONE HOUR on-the-air fun-packed activity!
It is a
3-band only (6 meters, 2 meters and 1.25 meters) event, but otherwise it scores just like the upcoming January VHF Contest (
exchange call sign and grid-4). Be ready/willing/able to work the same station on any/all of these bands as you have, too! Here's a paper log you could use, if you wish (thanks Lu/N2SLN):

FM Frequencies (vertical polarization is best, unless otherwise noted)
