Does anyone have experience with Rock Solar lifepo4 batteries? Are they any good? There is currently a sale on and I am considering purchasing one. Thanks.

I ended up purchasing the Rocksolar LiFePO4 battery  model 12-50

640Wh
12.8v-50Ah

I chose this brand as we are happy with their Nomad Power Station for my husbands CPAP machine. The power station has lasted three nights of use without needing to be recharged.  Tested while camping.

I also have their 100w 12v suitcase solar panel to charge the power station. The suitcase style is compact and very light. It folds out a few feet and has a built in stand.

We've had no issues with the solar panel or power station and that was the reason why we decided to go with this particular brand of LiFePO batteries.

Those batteries DO have a lot of advantages - capacity vs. size and weight as they are Lithium based.

You should look into and there are new rules about having larger Lithium battery banks INSIDE a house... if that is what they're being used for in say a solar ups backup system. Insurance company concerns over fire.

New rules say you have to have / store them in the garage - or an out building - which if unheated - reduces the capacity of the batteries of course.
