Today, I thought I give WSPR mode on WSJT-X 2.2.2 a try. This is my first time using WSPR.
I watched some videos on how to run WSPR mode on WSJT-X. None of then mention user_hardware file. I see in the manual that it runs it when changing bands I tried to set up a schedule.
When it tried to switch bands I get the message:
When I select OK, WSJT-X fails.
In my research on google, I found a posting that there is a bug in WSJT-X 2.2.2. Their solution is to go back to 2.2.1. WSJT-X 2.2.2 is my first installed version.
My questions is what are my options?
- create a blank user_hardware file? If so where should it go?
- Install WSJT-X 2.2.1
- Install WSPR 2.12
- Install WSJT-Z
- Install JTDX
What are your recommendations? I think creating a blank bat file will work. I do not know enough what is in the actual user_hardware file.
