Some recent sourcing experience--I am making some renos to my antennae and needed a couple of pieces of mill grade aluminum angle.  During a recent walkthru at the local HD I noted that the material was avail---but I needed to make 2 cuts for my situation.  The price was $88 + tax--and I would have to cut to length.

So I Googled for a local suppliers and came upon Boss Steel on Newkirk in Richmond Hill.  They are a metal fabricator and retailer.  The tab for my 2 pieces was $25 tax incl. ---cut to size. Ordered in the AM--picked up in the aft.

I ordered some more bits and pieces--similar pricing.  Service was fantastic.

FYI--I have no commercial interest in Boss Steel and I dont think that any of my relatives work there    rog

Thank you.  One more metal place for me to add to my contact list of places ti=o purchase metal.

In my search for aluminum rods, I surprisingly found that Grainger carries the aluminum rods that are already threaded.
