Last week we looked at pulling down weather reports so we could be informed and prepared.
During Summer Field Day 2024, YRARC had 4 operating stations, plus GOTA and a Winlink operational station.
Lots of antennas in the air and lots of water on the ground. We then had storms come through on the Saturday evening with lightning, and more rain and our Field Day operations came to a halt, all antennas including the tower antenna, were brought to the ground for safety.
My final email sent out that day was a Field Situational Report to the section manager.
