Subject: VE3PRC-10 Winlink Packet RMS Back On Air
To: Rosemarie Upfield <reupv...@gmail.com>

Hello Winlink Training Participants,

Announcing the PARC Winlink RMS Station is now back on the air and in operation. You can access your WINLINK PACKET messages by connecting to VE3PRC-10 on 145.010 MHz this is a WINLINK PACKET STATION.

Winlink Packet works in conjunction with TNC softwarefor example DIREWOLF.  Direwolf software is free to download, there may be a few changes that you will need to make to the direwolf.conf file (e.g. ensure your call sign is correct, all hashtags are in the correct spot) and your Winlink settings (e.g. ports are set according to Direwolf config file, TNC type is KISS, serial port is TCP).

Select your session as Winlink Packet, open the session and click on update channel selection via internet, you will see the recently added packet RMS stations appear on the list after you update.  Make sure your radio is tuned to the packet RMS frequency, you have the corresponding packet channel selected in Winlink, if your radio does not have a built in interface you have connected an interface box or CAT cable, then proceed as usual by opening the session.

If you have questions contact the ACS-GH Help Desk Ham-Cdn-...@groups.io | Home
