YRARC Winlink Wednesday #11 - Call to Action
This week's "YRARC Winlink Wednesday" is the ability to go MOBILE.
TEST TEST TEST - MOBILE OPERATOR
Please send a Winlink Checkin using the Template called Winlink Check In.txt under General Forms. If you do go Mobile, please ensure your GPS Position is updated in the Winlink forms and maybe even send out a separate GPS Position Report (which we have used in the past).
Please title it with "Winlink Wednesday #11 - TEST TEST TEST - MOBILITY"
Use your own callsigns this time and not tactical addresses.
Please state in your check in what session type you used and if you used a local RMS, please state which ones worked for you.
And tell us where you went MOBILE? A local Park, your backyard (out of the shack!), local Walmart car park???

If you are running VARA FM and see another active VARA FM user in your VARA FM log, then remember you can send them a direct P2P message even if they are not in P2P mode. Please try it using the P2P session and send your message as "Peer-to-Peer message" Only you as the sender need to be in P2P mode, the receiver does NOT need to be in P2P mode.
