IMS213-R is a form used for general communications in emergency management. A template for this form is available in Winlink Express. The message is sent as structured text rather than as a PDF or image file to the recipient.
As before, the exercise is in a PDF file so that it is easier to read.
One thing I just thought to mention was that if you send a templated message to an external email address, Winlink creates a PDF file, as your email program would not be able to recreate the template from the text. Transmission via radio can take a lot longer as the attachments are much bigger than the text.
Try it and see - preferably over Telnet so you don't tie up the radio channel for a long time, although if you have a VARA licence and a good connection it will only take a few minutes or so.
