Hi,

Our students have been emailing each other "hacks" and other poor language content. Also, we have Google Docs being shared around that contain more of the same. Can this application provide reporting to admins? Can we choose to whitelist or blacklist certain URLs for example? Emails? I know this in particular is a lot to ask for, I just want to discover the benefits of Safedocs for our particular organization

Hello,

Thanks for asking good questions. xFanatical Safe Doc does not provide reporting features to administrators. Instead, xFanatical Safe Doc works more as content filtering and feature management in Google Workspace for Education, to limit students from harmful content and misuse of features. You can find a list of policies that Safe Doc provides and feature demonstrations in the Safe Doc Support page
To help you address your issues,
  • You can set up Gmail Content Compliance rules in Google Admin to limit emailing between students. It supports keyword search to block emails that contains blacklisted URLs.
  • For limiting Google Docs sharing between students, Safe Doc has 3 policies to mitigate the issue. Please see this article Block Google Drive Sharing Files.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thank you.
