Dear xFanatical Safe Doc Community,

We have continually updated 4 new versions of xFanatical Safe Doc as 1.49.0, 1.50.0, 1.50.2, and 1.51.0 in this week. Mainly we have added some new policies to enhance features to improve your Google Workspace experience.

In version 1.49.0, we added Block Minecraft in Google Search policy which blocks Minecraft gameplay in Google Search to maintain a focused, distraction-free Google workspace for students. To learn how to enable this feature and explore its benefits, check out our detailed guide here: Block Minecraft in Google Search.

In version 1.50.0, it blocks image searching capability and adds external images by URL in the new Google Docs Cover image feature. 1.50.0 also blocks the templates introduced in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. These new features are managed by existing policies, EnableImageSearch, BlockAddImageByUrl, and BlockEditorTemplates. We will update these new features in its blogs soon.

In version 1.50.2, it addresses the issue of overflown toolbar is solved in Google Docs and Slides.

In version 1.51.0, we introduced a new policy called BlockSitesEmbed to block the Embed feature in Google Sites.  The embed feature in Google Sites allows students to embed external links (by URL) or embedded code to Google Sites. It bypasses popular web filters as the content is proxied by Google servers. Students may watch Youtube videos or play games from the embedded content. This policy disables the embed feature, so that students won't be able to embed inappropriate content in the students' created sites. A guide blog will be published soon.

As always, thank you for your trust and support. We look forward to continuing to bring you tools that make managing Google Workspace seamless and effective.

If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to our team!
