WWcrew: Saratoga Invitation Regatta Registration 4/26-4/27

Thank you for your patience regarding the Saratoga Invitational Regatta Registration. We had to finalize a couple of logistics to ensure accurate costs. Myself and the other coaches are very excited for this year's regatta at Saratoga. Everyone has worked extremely hard this past year, and it will be exciting to see where we stack up against some of the best crews in the country. If you are not going to attend, please let me know ASAP in order to have enough time to cancel rooms and dinners. 

The Saratoga Invitational is a significant opportunity for our program to assess itself against some of the best in the country. It helps inform decisions regarding lineups for the remainder of the season, boat planning for the Regional Championship, and a host of other important factors. It’s also a great opportunity to expose athletes to the wider world of rowing.

We've worked diligently with the coaches, a few parents, and board members to control costs. However, the price of race entries and related expenses has made doing so extremely difficult. Total cost can be found on the registration link below.

Wayland Weston Rowing maintains a scholarship fund dedicated to the Saratoga Invite as well as The Head of the Fish in the Fall.  If anyone needs financial assistance to help cover some of the costs of participation in the regatta, please let me know.

Here are some key details for the trip:

• Transportation: The team will be traveling in two charter buses departing from Weston Middle School on Friday at 4:00 PM.
• Accommodation: We will be staying at Comfort Inn Latham Albany North, 981 Loudon Rd, Cohoes, NY 12047. Phone: 518.785.0000, Fax: 518.782.1285.
• Dining: Dinners will be catered by Michael's Express. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know as soon as possible.
• Return: Expect your rowers to be home on Sunday around 9:00 PM.

Hi Mike

  Aadith is looking forward to this invite.  He‘s party of novice boys.  Aadith is vegetarian… Not vegan :). No red/white meat but ok with egg, cheese and any diary products.  Just want to make sure there are options.
