Hello Everyone,

I hope all are doing well as we progress further along into the season. All squads seem to be making significant progress on and off the water - growing fitter and faster everyday thanks to their diligence.

I wanted first to remind everyone of our custom apparel store, where you can get all the necessary gear to cheer on your athletes this fall! Sweatshirts, hats, and more can be found! But the store will close on Monday, so make sure to get your orders in! You will find at the bottom of this email, both a QR code and link where you can find the website

In addition to this news, I wanted to take the time to clarify a few issues and confusions around our schedule this season. First being that I had sent out an incorrect schedule earlier this year, which listed some confusing dates.

We will not be having an ergathon this coming Saturday, but rather regular practice sessions at the lake.

Times for the squads will be as follows:

Novice Girls: 9:00-11:30
Novice Boys: 8:30-11:00
Varsity Girls: 8:00-10:30
Varsity Boys: 8:00-10:30

Other clarifications on schedule is our race schedule, beginning on the first weekend of October in Lowell. For the duration of October, the team will race every weekend - culminating in our trip to Saratoga for the Head of the Fish

The specific dates and locations of the races are below:

October 6th - Textile River Regatta - Lowell, MA - Bellgarde Boathouse
October 13th - 15th Annual Northeast Fall Championship Regatta - Worcester, MA - Regatta Point Park
October 20th - Head of the Charles - Boston, MA - (Note: only two boats will race the event, one  8 for each varsity team)
October 26th and 27th - Head of the Fish - Saratoga, NY

I would also hope to remind everyone, but especially those joining our community for the first time, to volunteer to help out at the food tent during these races if your schedule allows. The food tent serves as a wonderful opportunity for families to get to know one another, learn about the sport, and also have the opportunity to talk with the coaches. It really is a wonderful opportunity to get to know about the club!

For any other questions regarding dates, our updated calendar with correct dates and all can be found here.

Finally, as we all go through this transition period, I'm pleased to say that our coaching vacancies are filling, and I'm very much excited about our new team. It really is a pleasure to see the hard work, dedication, and thoughtful care that all of the coaches extend to your athletes, and I am forever grateful for their efforts.

As always, thank you all for the support you give to your athletes and their pursuits. I'm sure there must've been some item I've missed, so there'll likely be a follow up today.

Best,

Dan

p.s. Don't forget about the store!
