Hello Everyone,

As we are on the eve of the beginning of a new season, I wanted to reach out and cover a few questions that I have been asked, as well as to clarify some things about the schedule.

Our first preseason practice for all squads will kick off tomorrow at 3:45pm at the Wayland Town Beach, and run until 6:15pm. Athletes should bring athletic clothing, running shoes, and a full water bottle for the first day.

Preseason will run from Monday to Friday, 3:45 to 6:15, mirroring our regular season practice schedule. Once we are in the regular season following the Labor Day weekend, we will also have an additional Saturday Morning practice at a time set by the specific squad's coach.

In terms of our broader calendar, all major dates can be found here

Over the preseason week, I ask that one parent and every single athlete complete a concussion education course. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all athletes, one of their parents and all coaches complete this course annually. Here are the links for athletes and parents.

These must be completed by noon on Saturday, August 31st. Please save your completion certificates, and attach the pdf's to an email with your athlete or athletes names and their high school as the subject line - so that I can pass these along to the respective athletic departments.

Finally, there is still a discrepancy of roughly 16 athletes who have only registered with their respective high schools and not yet with the club. If you have not yet had to pay when registering, then there is one additional registration link you will need to complete - which can be found here. If there are issues or questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly with the athlete's name in the subject line.

I'm very excited to see you all very soon, and as always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Best,

Dan
