Wayland Weston Regatta 5/11-12/19

Novice Parents,

This weekend is the Amber Zapatka Memorial Regatta, in Lowell. This is an excellent
opportunity to watch your student athlete compete. Lowell is an easy travel destination and there
is pay parking available.

Please consider volunteering at the Wayland Weston food tent for this regatta! The food tent is
located along side of the race course. It is a fantastic location for watching the races- front row
seating! Volunteering at the food tent is a great way to meet other Wayland Weston crew parents
and watch your child’s race.  The food tent provides valuable support to our student athletes.

An array of volunteer time slots is available from Friday prep, Saturday & Sunday at the races, to
dish washing post event. All of the positions are necessary to provide support for the Wayland
Weston team.

Currently all novice boats are scheduled to race Saturday morning/early afternoon. The novice fours and 2 nd
novice eights race again Saturday afternoon. The 1 st novice eights will race again late Sunday morning.
Line ups will be available Friday. Regatta schedules are always subject to change. Please refer to
