Dear Novice Boys & Parents,

Our first regatta of the season, The Harvard Henley, is this Sunday, May 5th. All team members must be at the Weston Middle School parking lot at 5:00 am. Buses leave promptly at 5:15 am. Student athletes must get a ride from their parents to the race course if they miss the bus. Please see links below for specific information regarding regatta logistics.

The novice boys  races are at 10:14 - 10:54for the first NB8 and 10:38 am - 11:02 am for the second NB8.

The weather will be rain and 48-50 degree temperatures are predicted. Very little shelter is available at the regatta site. It is important that boys come prepared with warm clothing to wear throughout the day including while racing. Referees can disqualify squads that are not appropriately dressed. The boys should wear tights and  team jerseys or a variation of orange/maroon/black. Unfortunately, team uniforms won't be available until later in May.

The Wayland Weston Food tent will be up and running during the regatta. The boys are encouraged to nourish themselves during the day.

The team will take the bus home after all the boats have been secured to the trailer at the end of the races. Student athletes will be requested to contact their parents 30 minutes prior to the ETA at the Weston Middle School. Parents are requested to pick up their child at the time of the bus arrival to the middle school. The coaches will have put in a long day by then and we will be ready to go home. Thank you for your kind consideration.

We look forward to the start of the season!

Thank you for your support!

Coach Sandra
