Guest: Dr. Kenya C. Ramey’s extensive experience in education has been shaped by the proverb, "She who learns, teaches." She received her formal education from Virginia State University (Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Educational Administration and Supervision and a BA in History) and Temple University (MA, MEd in African American/Black Studies, specializing in Social Studies Teacher Education). 

She has had leadership various roles, including Teacher, Department Chair, Curriculum Writer, Instructional Coach, Program Director, and School Administrator at the following organizations: The New York City Department of Education, District of Columbia International School (DCI), Delta Research and Educational Foundation, and the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, where she currently serves as a Research Director.
