NEW: Get through your to-do list faster with Zoom Tasks
Between meetings, emails, chats, and calls, it can be overwhelming to keep track of everything that needs to get done. Zoom Tasks with AI Companion helps surface, manage, and complete tasks across Zoom Workplace to get more done. For easy tracking, it can aggregate tasks within the task management tab or embed tasks in a Zoom Doc. With Zoom Tasks you can: - Get a curated to-do list - Zoom AI Companion can automatically generate recommended tasks and assign them to the right owner based on meeting summaries or be prompted to surface tasks from Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Mail, Zoom Docs, and more, quickly converting action items into actionable tasks to accept or delegate to others.
- Complete to-dos faster - Zoom AI Companion can help users get started and complete tasks by providing insights and recommending next steps.
- Drive follow-through and visibility - Zoom Tasks can help everyone stay on track and in the know by utilizing the centralized task management tab, sharing and assigning tasks across accounts, and summarizing tasks using AI Companion.
Zoom Tasks is available for eligible* paid plans on the Zoom Workplace App version 6.4.3 and higher. Learn more about how to enable and manage Zoom Tasks. *Zoom Tasks may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.
Select features to be enabled for all customers in June As part of a June update, Zoom plans to enable the following features for all customers: - Non-verbal feedback - This allows meeting participants to place an icon in their video panel and beside their name in the participants panel to communicate with the host and other participants without disrupting the flow of the meeting.
- Sort Gallery View - Allows participants to sort their gallery view order during a meeting choosing from options including sorting by first name (ascending and descending), last name (ascending and descending), and meeting entry time (ascending and descending). Sorting gallery view order feature is only available with client version 5.14.0 or later on a Basic, Pro, Business, or Enterprise account.
- Save gallery view - To save a custom gallery view, start a meeting as the host and arrange the video tiles in your desired order. Then, click on "View" and select "Save Video Order." This custom gallery view will be saved for future meetings within the same series. Only one custom gallery view can be saved per meeting series, but you can update and save a new arrangement, which will replace the existing one.
- Allow users to select stereo audio in their client settings - Users will be able to enable stereo audio, which allows them to send audio in stereo during meetings and webinars if their microphone can process audio in stereo.
These features were initially released default off, but will now be enabled for all accounts. They will become part of the standard Zoom experience and the corresponding web settings will be removed.
Customize your meeting summaries with Custom AI Companion! Service Updates
- New Zoom Service Status page domain - On August 14, 2025, status.zoom.us and status.zoom.com will be retired and zoomstatus.com will be the new official status site for Zoom. Furthermore, new email notifications will come from no-r...@zoomstatus.com. To avoid any access issues, please add the zoomstatus.com site to your allow list now to ensure you are properly rerouted. If you are subscribed to the current status page, you would have received a maintenance notice June 3. Please visit us at zoomstatus.com for more details as well as future updates.
- End of support for Zoom Workplace App on Windows 32-bit systems - Zoom will no longer support the Zoom Workplace app on Windows 32-bit operating systems as of the anticipated date of December 15, 2025. If you are currently using the Zoom Workplace app on a Windows 32-bit system, you must upgrade your operating system to Windows 64-bit before December 15, 2025 to be able to access Zoom services and updates.
