We spotlight the Ghanaian filmmaker who was the personal cameraman to Kwame Nkrumah, revolutionary leader and Ghana's first prime minister.

Guest: Nana Adwoa Frimpong is a storyteller, producer,  and Vice President of Partnerships & Impact at Breakwater Studios, a two-time Academy-Award filmmaking company in Los Angeles. In her role, Ms. Frimpong is the bridge between the studio’s original and branded films and larger impact goals through storytelling and strategic communications and partnerships. She completed her Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts where she was a George Lucas Scholar. The first feature documentary Nana produced, The Eyes of Ghanahad its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and is executive produced by Barack and Michelle Obama.
