Region 5, we are very excited to spend a few days with you in Sacramento!

BTTF 6 will be utilizing Whova as its event app this year!

You should have received a few emails from Whova giving you early access to the event page, where you can:

·  View the full agenda, session descriptions, and room locations 

·  Build your personalized schedule

·  Connect with speakers and fellow attendees

·  Get real-time updates during the event

How to Download Whova:

1.    Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

2.    Search for Whova Event & Conference App

3.    Download and install the app

4.    Open Whova and create an account using the email you used to register for the institute

5.    Once you receive the Whova invitation email, follow the link to access our event page


Monday, September 29th

Bridge To The Future 6 (BTTF6) check-in table will be open on Monday, September 29th, from 12- 1 PM and 5- 7 PM.  Additionally, Lisa Lennox will be available to check you in during our Fall Business Meeting, which will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. We highly recommend that you check in on this day rather than the morning of September 30th. 

  • Cooperative Programs Providing DOR Student Services/VR Services on Monday, September 29th, 2025, during the Pre-Conference of the Bridge to the Future 6 Institute. 9 AM - 12 PM (not required, optional)

  • 3:00 PM-5:00 PM R5 mandatory Fall Business meeting

    • CDE Presentation- 3:00-3:30 PM, California Salon 1 & 2

    • 3:30 - 5:00 PM R5, California salon 1 & 2- elections, committee reports & other business 

    • 5:10 PM Executive Committee check-in (if needed)

  • Meals are not provided on Monday, September 29th. See the attached list of nearby restaurants


Tuesday, September 30th- Day 1 Region 5- show your unity and wear teal!

  • 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Registration Check-In Open (Grand Foyer)

  • 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Breakfast (provided) & Exhibitors Open  **Breakfast is for all attendees regardless of the hotel you are staying at

  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Welcome Panel

  • 10:15 AM – 11:55 AM: Keynote Session with Jordan Toma – Motivational Speaker & Advocate   Learn more: www.JordanToma.com

  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch (provided) & Tribute to Sue Sawyer  ***Lunch is for all attendees regardless of the hotel you are staying at

  • 1:15 PM – 5:30 PM: Breakout Sessions + Film Screening
