Good evening,

This is being sent BCC to the Region 5 Announcements

Please note that this notification was posted in the WAI Database today statewide.

"The developers are currently looking into technical issues impacting the Grant Funding Application, Budget Revision, and End of Year Package. Reporting deadlines may be extended to account for delays resulting from technical issues."

TEC has bees been asked to reshare the following protocol from CDE:

Database Technical Issue Protocol
Please remember to follow the communication protocol regarding technical issues with the Database.  Grantees that have tech questions or are experiencing difficulties in the WAI database should follow the following protocol:
  1. Consult the local-level user guide in the WAI database.
  2. If the user guide does not address the question or resolve the issue, contact your Grant Contact for assistance.
  3. If the Grant Contact cannot resolve the issue or is the person experiencing the difficulty, they should reach out to their local TEC Committee representative for help. (Region 5: Katherine Abraham, Lisa Lennox)
  4. If the TEC Committee representative cannot resolve the issue, they should contact the TEC Committee Chair for assistance.
  5. If the TEC Committee Chair cannot resolve the issue, they will submit a fix request to the CDE. The CDE will attempt to resolve the issue. If the CDE is unable to resolve the issue, they will submit a fix request to the developer. The CDE will communicate directly with the grantee once the issue has been resolved.
Lisa and I are doing our best to answer and follow up on questions, and appreciate your patience.  We are step 3 in the protocol.  Please do not reach out directly to CDE or the developers.  If we are unable to assist we move it to step 4.

If your question about the database is more about content and not a technical issue please reach out to the mentor committee representatives. (Example: What needs to be in the Array of services for it to count as served? Explination of end of year rubric, allowable expenses for budget, etc.)

Kind Regards,
Katherine
