Hi everyone,

We wanted to touch base ahead of the Lyrebird Awards and be on the front foot with everything.

At this stage, we don’t yet know whether Mamma Mia! has be asked to perform. As soon as we hear, we’ll share details—but in the meantime, here’s what you can do to stay prepared.

🎟️ Tickets

If you wish to be booked with Windmill's Group Booking, Tickets are now available should you wish to purchase:

Please note these are first-come, first-serve. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to purchase large group blocks together later on, so feel free to book directly through the venue if you prefer.

We will be closing these bookings on Friday 26th December at 6:00pm unless otherwise advised, so please do get in quick.

🎭 Possible Performance

We haven’t yet been advised if we’ll be performing, but little (lyre)birdies are telling me we may be considered for The Megamix.
Please check your availability for the following potential rehearsal dates and let us know if you have any major conflicts:

• Sunday 18th Jan - Afternoon

• Tuesday 20th Jan - Evening
  

• Wednesday 21st Jan - Evening

• Saturday 24th Jan - Morning

• Sunday 25th Jan - Afternoon

• Monday 2nd Feb - Evening

• Thursday 5th Feb - Evening

🏆 The Lyrebird Awards

Date: Saturday 7 February 2026
Venue: The Round, 379-399 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading, VIC, 3131

The evening will consist of:

• Foyer opens from 5pm, with drinks available for purchase from the bar
• Awards ceremony and associated performances in the theatre at 6pm until about 8:30pm.
• Post ceremony function upstairs in the function room with DJ and dance floor.
• Function includes drinks from 8:30-11:30pm, and light food from their extensive range of platters
