Mamma Mia – Guilds Info, Tickets & Rehearsal Dates

Hi everyone,

We wanted to touch base ahead of the Guilds (Bruce Awards) and be on the front foot with everything.

At this stage, we don’t yet know whether Mamma Mia! has received nominations or commendations, nor do we know if we’ll be asked to perform. As soon as we hear, we’ll share details—but in the meantime, here’s what you can do to stay prepared.

Please note these are first-come, first-serve. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to purchase large group blocks together later on, so feel free to book directly through the venue if you prefer.

We will be closing these bookings on Thursday 6th November at 6:00pm unless otherwise advised, so please do get in quick.

🎭 Possible Performance

We haven’t yet been advised if we’ll be performing.
If you were involved in “Money, Money, Money”, please check your availability for the following potential rehearsal dates and let us know if you have any major conflicts:

• Wednesday 19 November – 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Dance Rehearsal)

• Saturday 22 November – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Vocal Rehearsal)

• Wednesday 26 November – 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Dance Rehearsal)

• Saturday 29 November – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Vocal Rehearsal)

Please pop these in your calendar just in case we are selected to perform.

🏆 The 38th Annual Bruce Awards

Date: Saturday 13 December
Venue: Camberwell Grammar – 55 Mont Albert Road, Canterbury 3126
Director: Marcus Pinnell
Music Director: Jem Sherwill
Host Company: Western Arts Theatre

Join us from 6:30 pm for a pre-event social function in the foyer—drinks at bar prices and nibbles included.
The ceremony begins promptly at 8:00 pm, featuring over a dozen performances from Open and Junior companies across the state.

Hi Everyone

Sorry.. I thought I sent this email - turns out I actually sent it to myself..

Locking in our rehearsal times prior to the ceremony as:

Saturday 22nd November - 10:00am-1:00pm -> Vocal Rehearsal + Dance Rehearsal.

Wednesday 26th November - 7:30pm-9:30pm -> Dance Rehearsal.

If you cannot make it to one of these times (as in, your availability has changed from declared), please reach out ASAP to mamm...@windmilltheatre.com.au.

I am still waiting on information from the Guild re. Performance day.

I am unfortunately unable to join you all at either of these rehearsals, so wish you all the love in the world, and I will see those of you in attendance @ the Guilds!

🗓️ Performance Details

Date: Saturday 13th December, 2025

There will be a mandatory rehearsal at the venue with the production team and orchestra on the day. The earliest arrival time for any company is 10:30am, so please keep the day as clear as possible. We’ll share the confirmed call time once provided by the Guild.

Early-bird tickets can also be purchased directly from the venue.

Performers will receive a drinks voucher for the pre-event function, but you’ll still need to purchase your own ticket for entry. Seats are first-come, first-served, so we recommend booking early.

We’ll handle the submission of all technical documentation, music scores, and lyrics directly with the Guild. Once we receive our on-day rehearsal and performance schedule, we’ll send another update with all the details.
