✨🌈 The Sunflower Signal 🌈✨Your whimsical dispatch from the dusty frontier of Reso 2026
WHERE TO PARK YOUR WEIRD LITTLE SELF: A CAMPING GUIDE

You've got your ticket (if not get it). You've got your glitter (testing to see if any of you actually read this), and at least three items you can't explain to your non-burner friends. Now comes the eternal question: where do I actually sleep?

Fear not, dusty dreamer. Reso 2026 has a camping zone for every flavor of human, from the serenity-seeker to the chaos-goblin, from the family unit to the theme camp empire. Read on, find your spot, and plan accordingly. The field awaits.

🤫 QUIET CAMPING: SHHH. JUST… SHHH.

Some of us need a retreat. A sanctuary. A place where the only sounds at 3 AM are the whisper of wind through grass and the distant, philosophical conversation of two people trying to remember the lyrics to a song neither of them actually knows.

The Quiet Zone is that place, available for both walk-in and car camping.

  • Fuel generators? Absolutely not. Leave the growling gasoline beast at home. The hush is universal and applies to everyone in the Quiet Zone, regardless of how you're camping.
  • Amplified music? Also no. Your ukulele is welcome. Your stadium-grade speaker stack is not.
  • Solar panels and solar generators? YES. Soak up that Kansas sun and power your tiny empire the planet-friendly way. We love a quiet, sustainable king or queen.

🚗 CAR CAMPING: YOUR VEHICLE, YOUR FORTRESS

You know who you are. Your car isn't just transportation, it's part of the camp. Maybe you sleep in it. Maybe you unfold an elaborate awning off its side. Maybe your entire packing strategy revolves around the sacred geometry of trunk tetris.

Car Camping is for those who camp in or with their vehicle as an integral part of their individual setup. Your four-wheeled companion gets to stay right there with you, serving as shelter, storage, or windbreak as you see fit.

Car Camping is available in both the Quiet and Non-Quiet Zones. Pick your vibe, park your ride. (And remember: in the Quiet Zone, fuel generators stay home no matter where your wheels are parked.)

🚶 WALK-IN CAMPING: THE SHADED, VEHICLE-FREE ZONE

Picture this: a wooded area. Dappled sunlight. The rustle of leaves. Shade that lasts most, if not all, of the day. No cars, no engines, just you and your tent tucked among the trees like a forest creature who remembered to bring a sleeping bag.

Walk-In Camping is exactly what it sounds like. Vehicles are not permitted in this area. Yours must be parked in the main parking lot while you carry your gear to your leafy little kingdom.

This is the spot for those who crave a more rustic, tucked-away experience. The trees do the work of shade structure for you—just add a tent and a dream.

Walk-In Camping is available in both the Quiet and Non-Quiet Zones. Crave silence among the trees? Walk-in Quiet is your paradise. Want the forest experience but still want to hear the distant thump of a bass line at midnight? Walk-in Non-Quiet has you covered, amplified music is allowed, and the vibe is livelier, or so some people say.

🎪 THEME CAMPING: BUILD YOUR STRANGE LITTLE WORLD

Got a vision? Got a friend? Then you've got the minimum requirements to start a theme camp.

Theme Camping is for any group of two or more people who submit an application to camp together under a published theme. Tea lounges, meditation domes, art circuses, compliment-dispensing sunflower cults, you name it, we want to host it.

Here's the key: all theme camps are required to contribute. That means art, interactivity, or some form of gifting to the broader community. Your camp isn't just where you sleep—it's part of the fabric of Reso itself. You're not just camping; you're hosting a tiny universe.

A note on space: theme camp areas are reserved for theme camps. There is no walk-in or car camping in theme camp zones for folks not part of a registered theme camp. If this changes due to demand, we'll shout it from the rooftops (and the newsletter, and the website, and probably a very enthusiastic social media post). Hint, get your theme camp going and bring it.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY CAMPING: THE WHOLESOME ZONE

Families belong at Reso, and families deserve a space that matches their needs.

Family Camping is one of the few areas where nudity and adult activities are not permitted beyond the private confines of your tent, RV, car, or whatever structure you're calling a bedroom for the weekend. Inside your sleeping space? Your business. Outside, in the shared Family Camping zone? Keep it family-friendly.

This is a space where kids can roam, parents can breathe easy, and everyone can enjoy the magic of Reso at a slightly more G-rated frequency. Located near the Quiet Zone for extra peace and fewer surprise midnight DJ sets.
