Delay receiving RFID reads

When timing on the windows app there is a delay between the read happening and it displaying on the computer. No delay on a very similar computer setup in a very similar way.

Has anyone encountered delays on windows machines like this and fixed it? Be very grateful to know how!

Try reinstalling the app.  We used to have a "Best detect" feature where the app would wait for (default) 0.5 seconds to analyze possible multiple detections within that time period and pick the one with the best RSSI strength.  We removed this option a few releases ago (turns out RFID RSSI is more sensitive to the orientation of the chip vs. proximity), but if you used the best detect option previously on that computer, the app may still remember that setting even if it's not exposed in the user interface..

Thanks - unfortunately I only set this PC up a couple of weeks ago, so guessing that rules that option out.

I'm not even sure the issue is webscorer specific, CrossMgr also shows a slight delay. But does seem to be RFID specific.
