Hi,
I have some points which could maybe be improved on the registration form:

1. Deactivation of field "Who are you registering?"
What's the reason for this input field? It makes no difference whether I register my self of if someone else registers me? Would be nice if it could be deactivated, as it's a little bit confusing.

2. I used the first time the function "Auto-assign categories based on age and gender".
Works fine so far and could avoid a lot of wrong assigned racers.
But in Germany we often have a Elite-category and a Amateur-category.
So with the same age/gender you could register either for Elite or for Amateur.
That's not possible with this function. You can assign only one category for each age/gender.
Would be great if all the options which a possible with my age/gender would pop-up and the racer could choose the right one.
And it would be helpful if the category I'm assigned to by my age/gender is shown already during the registration.
At the moment you can see the category you are assigned to first time after completing the registration.

Thank you,
Michael

1. The “Who are you registering” option is shown only for those participants who’re signed into their Webscorer account when registering. This is intended for situations where the account holder wants to also register a friend with one payment.

Your registration does not require a Webscorer account so that option won’t be shown for (most) participants. Sign out of your organizer account to see how it looks for the participant.

2. You could setup the Elite and Amateur classes as “Distances”, each with their own age-based categories. Then the participant simply needs to select “Elite” or “Amateur” - and the category is assigned automatically based on age.

to 1.) yes you are right - as soon as I log out the input field disappears. My mistake ;-)

to 2.) working with different distances to seperate "Elite" and "Amateur" works.
But nevertheless it's again confusing for categories like the kids where there is no split in Amateur and Elite.
I think it would be more intuitive if it would be possible to link more than one category to one specific age/gender and the racer could then choose between the different categories poping up in a selection field.

The age-to-category mapping tool is already confusing to some users, allowing the same age to be mapped to more than one category would make it even more so.

As already said - I think the only confusing thing about the age-to-category mapping is the fact, that you don't get any feedback about what's your matching category until you complete the registration.
If the category would pop-up after age and gender input is made, everything would be fine (just my opinion).
And if this would be the case, it would also be straight forward if you could choose then between Amateur and Elite for example.
But maybe I'm alone with this opinion ;-)
