Dear all

Today during one of the event, we faced a typical issue, where Zebra
FX9600 was read correctly by 123RFID with good accuracy, however once I
have closed 123RFID and opened webscorer, it connected perfectly, test
was also positive, but the reading was not starting immediately after
start.

The reading was taking atleast 50-60 secs to start.

May I know if someone has faced similar issues.

Regards

123RFID refers to the Zebra Windows app?

Only one app can be connected to the LLRP port on the FX9600 port at a time. It’s generally not a good idea to use two different apps to connect to the same reader as the closing of the app may not necessarily free up the LLRP port 5084 on the reader immediately - it’s possible the port remains in use / not available until the TCP/IP timeouts lapse which may take several minutes.

Yes This is 123RFIF Zebra desktop app.

I generally restart my desktop. I intend using webscorer but since the readings were delayed, we had to switch over before live event. That also was done after a restart to desktop.

We also couldn't find any good reason for this. Hence looking for experts opinion.

A better idea is to reboot the FX9600 reader after you switch apps.  This will reset the LLRP port.
