Hi

I have a NETUM bluetooth barcode scanner which fundamentally works BUT

when I scan a race bib with number beginning with 1 it records it strangely

1 comes up as (11)1)... - it seems to vary!!
10 comes up as (10)
100 comes us as (10)0
101 comes up as (10)1

All other numbers / barcodes appear correctly eg 53 shows as 53.

It is connected to Android phone as HID input device.

Any ideas?

Have you tried another barcode scanner to rule out that the barcode may have been encoded incorrectly?

If you don't have another reader, you may be able to use your phone camera to read it.  Or share a picture of one that isn't working and I can try to scan it.

My best,
Tim

Just to put this one to bed - I emailed NETUM support and they sent me a sequence of config barcodes (that were not in the manual) which once correctly scanned solved the problem.

Just need to order the race bibs now...

So all's well that ends well

Happy Christmas
