Scoring Teams for XC

Hi

I am running regional schools XC event tomorrow. 8 age categories one after the other. 4 girls races, 4 boys races. Interleaved girl, boy, etc. 

Girls teams score 3 from max 8, boys score 4 from max 8. 

How can I best do this at the finish line?

It is only me with Webscorer app on my phone and a Bluetooth barcode scanner. 

Race setup only allows me set up team scoring for either 3/8 or 4/8. Is there a way to adjust this for each category before posting the results. 

How would you do it?

If the team scoring rules are different for boys and girls, you have two options:

1. Do the boys and girls categories, respectively, as their own races on the app
- If the race starts overlap slightly you could use two devices, one race for each
- If race finish overlaps, you’ll need to use option 2

2. Repost the results to a new raceid on the website
- Set “Team scoring” rules separately for each race
- You can do this via the “Edit race info” menu button on the posted results page
