Any reliable and cheap online sources for race bits with chips for use with webscorer in Europe?

We only use webscorer for school cross-country. I know I can get the RFID chip reader and mat easily enough. It is the race bibs with chips I am not so sure about.

Thanks and Happy Christmas 🎄

The RFID chips are not region-specific - so you can order the chips from anywhere and they will work with your RFID reader & antennas. If you need just chips (programmed or not), we recommend AtlasRFIDstore which is based in the US but will ship internationally. You would need to get bibs from other sources.

If you need bibs already attached to bibs, Feibot in China is known to be a reliable source. Webscorer supports Feibot passive and active readers so we have worked with them before.

Another option is RaceResult, based in Germany, which supplies bib-attached chips, where Chip ID = Bib number. But you will then have to go with the RaceResult reader (Decoder 5000 or Ubidium) as their chips are encoded in such a way that only the RaceResult readers will return the programmed bib number.

You’ll pay a bit more, but their service is good.

We have tested both the Decoder 5000 and Ubidium and there are a handful of organizers using both in a variety of sports.
