Is there a generally accepted 3 letter long file extension for WebP
and WebM, the same way *.jpg and *.mpg is acceptable for *.jpeg or
*.mpeg?
I have been using *.wbp and *.wbm .
This is for use on an OS that has a filename restriction with a max of
3 letter extensions. Don't ask.

Javascript doesn't have a 3 letter file extension, and everyone copes
with that... (*.js)
I doubt enough people still use FAT16 filesystems (which require 3
letter extensions) to matter.
