I've installed webmdshow-09120-20101216.zip and the Vorbis audio
codec from xiph.org on my computer running Windows 7 64.

The installation wizard placed the files in C: Program
Files(x86)>Common Files>WebMProject>webmdshow

I figured these common files would be shared with VegasVegas Pro 10,
but I can't seem to find the option to render as VP8 in any of the
templates or custom options.

How can I configure this to work with Vegas, or is there a better
video editing program I should be using instead?

I'm very interested in producing Nvidia 3D Vision videos compatible
with HTML 5.

The video files I'm trying to render are AVCHD (MTS) shot on the Sony
TD10 3D camcorder

Thanks for your help,

Tad Brown

These are DirectShow filters. The installer registers them with the
system, so they should be known to apps via the standard COM
mechanisms.

Does Vegas support DirectShow?

I'm not familiar with Sony Vegas. Can you elaborate on what it is?

Do you have an actual file? For the VP8 part to work, there must be a
splitter filter available that understands your container format and
codec type(s).
